I found out a week ago that the POD Gallery -- http://www.podgallery.com/ -- selection committee has deemed only three images out of my Self Portraits in E Minor series worthy of display. I am mighty disappointed. Disaffected may be a better term, actually. I submitted that as a whole series. They went together damnit!
It's a rare occassion that I ask my loyal readers to help me, but if you happen to like the twelve images that they deemed unworthy, how about telling them about it here -- http://www.podgallery.com/html/aboutus.html . Double points if you were wanting to buy a print.

I had another one -- the best one of the lot, in my opinion -- but it got eaten by this fucking evil... E-V-I-L... computer. It was a time intensive piece, so it's unknown whether I'll try again (and even if I do it just won't be the same.)

I know, I'm slackin'. I've had a lot on my plate recently. The battle to Save Overtime Pay has been heating up in the Senate, and I've been busy folowing the developments and reading all the articles I can find. You can read all about it on my political blog--> http://madprophet.blogspot.com/
I've also been busy with the new metablog in town, Open Source Politics ( http://www.ospolitics.org/ .) I'm only doing one post every two weeks, but the first one took a lot of work (it turned out to be more of a full article than a blog post,) and the second one is looking to be the same way. Plus, the site has 40+ other great writers, and I've spent a lot of time just reading through their stuff.
So I haven't been doing much art lately. And I haven't even checked in here the whole time.
